Uploading Your Files

Create your domains in the control panel and upload your files using any FTP program. Use ftp.telavant.com as the FTP hostname and log in with your account username and password. We also support SFTP and SCP for secure file transfers.

Accessing Your Email

After creating your mailboxes in the control panel, you can log into them with virtually any email software, using POP3 or IMAP. We recommend that you access your email from a full-featured email client such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, using the IMAP protocol. Use mail.telavant.com as the incoming and outgoing mail server, the mailbox's full email address as your username, and the mailbox password to log in. For convenience, you can also log into your email using our webmail interface.

Website Development

Telavant is an ideal hosting environment for UNIX and Linux-oriented website developers. We offer a full-featured shell environment, including scheduled commands with cron. Log into shell.telavant.com with any SSH client to access the command line.
